Haikus are easy.
But sometimes they don't make sense.
Refridgerator.

I decided to write this haiku to express my discontent.

Windows NT crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death.
No one hears my screams.

So I was bored and googling......

........and this is what I found when I searched "theta." I don't know if anyone will even read this, but I found it kinda cool.

In classical Athens, it was used as an abbreviation for the Greek θάνατος (thanatos, "death") and as it vaguely resembles a human skull, theta was used as a warning symbol of death, in the same way that skull and crossbones are used in modern times. It survives on potsherds used by Athenians when voting for the death penalty.^[1]

In modern times, theta seems to have been given a new siginificance. Beginning in 2004, theta-related graffiti has been found all over the New England region of the United States, as well as in northern and southern France. The graffiti shows the mantra "theta equals love" - literally a theta followed by an equals sign and a heart. The origins of this mantra is unknown, but its popularity seems to be growing as indicated by a rise in "theta equals love" graffiti.

Packing Sucks....

.........I will be sooooo glad once tomorrow comes and I can finally be done!

But that sadly means that tonight is my last night in LA for awhile, especially since I'm heading off to Boston to visit my sister for a week on Sunday.

I hope everyone is having a great summer so far! I will miss you all until I come back. Everyone remember to post so that we can keep up with the lives of those who aren't here (*cough*cough* CALVIN).

calling all thetas

Hey guys!
Glad to see that you guys are all posting. Hopefully this will be a good way for all of us to keep in touch no matter where we are next year.
For those of you still in LA, Cal's going to be taking off for NYC early Saturday morning so maybe we can all hang out Thursday night? Or maybe we can do it on Friday and stay up all night before we have to take Cal to the airport. Let me know what's good.
